COURTNEY BAX LASATER (1980-2016) was a wife, mother and author who was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 30. Born in Houston, Texas, she was a resident of Austin for most of her adult life. She earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in marketing from Texas A&M University. In an effort to help others with cancer, and as a legacy to her son, she wrote a book recounting her battle with the dreaded disease and what she learned along the way. The book is titled INFUSED: My Story of Cancer, Hope and Love.
